Refund Policy
If Geopolitiks is not for you, you can get your money back. Here is how it works.
The short version: ask within 14 days of buying, and if you have played less than 2 hours, we will refund you in full. No reason needed.
The free demo covers the first ten game years, so you can try the game before you buy.

01When you can get a refund
You can ask for a refund of the base game, an edition or any DLC if both of these are true:
- you ask within 14 days of the purchase; and
- you have played that product for less than 2 hours.
You do not have to give a reason. For DLC, the 2 hours counts play with that DLC active.
The game counts the time it is open and on screen and adds it to your account. You can see your total on your account page. If you played offline, the time is added the next time you connect.
02Outside those limits
If you are past 14 days or 2 hours, you can still ask. We look at each request fairly and may say yes, for example if something stopped you from playing. This is our choice, not a promise.
03If the game is faulty
These rules sit on top of your legal rights. If the game does not work as described or has a defect we cannot fix, South African consumer law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, gives you rights to a repair, a replacement or a refund. Nothing in this policy limits them.
04How to ask
Email support@geopolitiks.site with the email address on your account and the product you want refunded. Putting the order number in the message helps, but we can find your purchase without it. We will usually reply within 5 business days.
05How you get your money
Refunds go back to the original payment method through our payment provider. We start it as soon as we approve your request. How long it takes to reach you depends on your bank or card and is usually 5 to 10 business days.
06After a refund
When we refund a product, its licence is removed from your account and you should uninstall it. Refunding the base game also removes any DLC that needs it. Refunding a DLC does not affect the base game.
07Chargebacks
Please contact us before you ask your bank to reverse a payment. We can usually sort it out faster, and a chargeback can lead to your account being suspended while it is investigated.
08Free grants
Copies given to you for free, such as review or tester copies, have no purchase to refund.
